Biography: Rebecca Christina Harrington was born in Toronto, Ontario and studied in New York at the Art Student's League, under Frank Vincent Dumond 1865 - 1951, a brilliant floralist and watercolourist. He was to have a huge and lasting impact on Christina's future work and style. She also worked with Enid Carlson and Emma Scott. Her forte was flowers and gardens which she painted often in large formats. Christina exhibited with the OCA in 1924 and the 1928 and 29. she was a regular contributor to the AAM between 1925 to 30.
